As discussed in our February post, we have begun the work on the construction of our nursery for butterflies.    The team has been walking the site to discuss the design, construction and the overall plan for plants and water.

As you visit the Nature Center in the coming months, you will see the garden evolve as it takes shape at the entrance to Nature Hill, and learn ideas to take home to create your own habitat for raising Monarchs and other butterflies in your yard.

We know it doesn’t look like much now, with everything winter brown.  By this fall our initial plantings will be established and we should be ready for the butterflies as they begin their winter migration.
