Angler Education (aka Fishing)

Teach someone to fish!  What a great idea!  We can cover all the basics from casting to lures, types of bait, lines and knots, and even which fish you can keep and which you have to throw back.   This is rod in hand time at the lake.   We’ll even provide the equipment.  A great experience for kids of all ages!

Of course,  we can cover the basics of fish.  For example, did you know that if you really understood the nature of fish and their preferred habitat, you might have more success?  Some fish prefer fast moving water, while others seek the gentle eddies.  If you understood what fish like to eat and when they like to eat it, you can choose the correct lure and better schedule your time on the lake.   Does talking really scare away the fish?  Can fish tell if your lure is red or green?   Why are most fresh water fish darker on the top and lighter on the bottom?  So much fun to learn, so many fish to try for!
