The Highland Lakes Nature Center is located on the Reveille Peak Ranch, about 1 hour north and west of Austin, TX.  It’s about 8 miles NW of Burnet TX.

From the intersection of 281 and 29 in Burnet TX, go west on 29 approx. 2-3 miles, just past the Red Top bait store on the left. Turn right onto FM 2341 (Canyon of the Eagles Rd). Go 4.5 miles to where the road widens to provide a right-turn lane. Turn left onto CR 114. RPR entrance is just 100 yards on the left. Go down the gravel driveway into the ranch to reach the parking areas and the pavillion.
